What we collect

When you log in via Twitch, we store:

  • Your Twitch display name
  • Your avatar image URL
  • Your Twitch user ID

That's it. No email. No real name. No location data. No demographic guessing. Your ID ties your votes and suggestions to your account so people know who suggested what.

What we don't collect

  • Email addresses. We don't ask. We don't need it.
  • Chat messages. Our bot reads chat on a streamer's channel when they opt in, to catch game suggestions. It processes messages on the fly and keeps none of them. No chat logs, no storage.
  • Tracking pixels or analytics scripts. No third-party tracker follows you around the web.
  • Cookies beyond authentication. One session cookie. That's the only one we set.

Basic server diagnostics happen too: request logs, error logs, performance metrics. Standard stuff to keep the lights on and fix breaks. This data is not sold, shared, or used to profile you.

Why we collect it

Authentication. Running the suggestion board. That's the whole list. We need your Twitch ID to tie votes to you and make sure the same person doesn't vote twice. We need your display name so other people know who to thank. We need your avatar because a face beats a UUID.

Cookies

One auth session cookie. Logs you in. Expires when your session ends or when you explicitly log out.

IGDB game data

Game metadata (title, cover art, genres, ratings) comes from IGDB. That's their data, not yours. Their privacy policy covers how they use it. We're just displaying it.

Twitch data

Twitch owns your identity. Their OAuth flow, their policies, their data practices apply. We don't own or control any of that.

Your data

Your votes, suggestions, and board history live on our servers. If you want it deleted or want a copy of what we have, ask. We'll sort it out.
